I see the fixtures for the new season are out.

Trips to Pittodrie and Parkhead for Rangers in the first 4 games.

Tough start.

Edit: Just seen Gerrards press conference from today and one of the journos asks him what he thinks of the Rangers/Aberdeen rivalry and he's like "what do you mean 'rivalry'??" :D

Exactly.

Exactly.

Aberdeen were one of our easiest opponents last season so we need to be looking at 3 points in our opening game.  A draw at the Piggery would be fine.

RANGERS are today delighted to announce striker Ryan Hardie has signed a one-year extension to his current contract.

Hardie, who came through the club’s Academy, spent the latter half of last season on-loan at Livingston, with his nine goals there helping them into the play-offs, from which they were eventually promoted to the Scottish Premiership.

He has been a regular in various Scotland age groups through the years, right though to the under-21s where he plays now.

His first-team debut came back in season 2014/15, and on his first start, he netted a double in a 3-1 win away to Dumbarton.

His career since then has seen him enjoy two loan spells with Raith Rovers and a stint in Paisley with St Mirren.

Meanwhile, Rangers Academy are delighted to confirm that under-20 player Serge Atakayi has signed a one year extension to his contract through until 2020.

The Academy are also pleased to have signed under-17 player, Kai Kennedy, on a professional contract through until 2021

Jason Holt on loan to Fleetwood. A bit out of his depth at times but his efforts can't be faulted.

Terrific for us in our second championship season.  Found out in the premiership.  Always has a great attitude and he'll do well at Fleetwood.

I can remember some local Rangers fans calling for Holt to get called up to the national squad that season, I think they maybe got a wee bit carried away!

CS Petrocub or NK Osijek in the Europa League.

From experience, hope you get the Moldovans; Osijek punted PSV Eindhoven out of the qualifying rounds last year, with PSV going on to win our league with ease. The Croatians fielded a very nasty, physical side in those two matches.

Just like playing Motherwell then?

Jon Flanagan apparently having a medical with a view to signing for Sevco.

Presumably the medics are checking to see if he still has the strength & ability to beat up women.

Scummy c**t.

Read the article on him and his offence. Being drunk or not, no excuse for it. p***k!

This must be the Sevco strategy on how to take on Scott Brown, seeing as he’s owned them for the past couple of years. Get a violent wife beater in to add a bit of steel and take out Broony.

Broony will have him on his arse.

End of.

You mean a player that 7 Celtic fans on twitter thought Celtic should sign?  Some opinions scooped from talkingbaws isn't exactly a proper reflection of the whole fanbase

It's ok for Sevco to sign someone who punched and kicked his girlfriend on the ground because 7 Celtic fans on Twitter suggested signing him... That's some mentality, not surprising from that cretin but still some mentality. Id imagine that sensible fella The_Kin... won't be happy with this.
