All Championship clubs apart from Dunfermline (Silver) and St Mirren (Gold) are Bronze. All L1 sides are Bronze apart from Albion Rovers (Entry) are Bronze. All L2 apart from City and Montrose are Bronze both are currently Entry although Ainslie Park is Bronze. All the non league clubs are Entry level although Spartans Cumbernauld and Nairn have Bronze grounds. Criteria is Ground, First Team, Legal/Admin, UEFA Licence and Youth you get marked on each. Hope this helps. You've explained it well enough but I still don't follow the logic. A ground where the players have to mix with the public is considered to be on the same level as Tynecastle?

scrooge1928
A club will only get Gold or Silver licensing if it meets all the criteria for the level. The Bronze/Entry criterion for 'Protected Access' is Clubs must give consideration to the way in which players access and leave the field of play but for Gold/Silver it is There must be protected access to the playing field for teams and match officials. The access to this area must be strictly controlled. Tynecastle etc will be Gold standard in this case but the ground misses out on other criteria. Many grounds have a single access point for players and the stewards and officials block this to the public when the players are entering or leaving the field. At Ainslie Park this is in front of the pavilion, where stewards stop spectators going to/from the refreshment kiosk until the players are on the park. In others, such as Tynecastle, the route onto the pitch is blocked off to spectators at all times. You can see the ground criteria in Section 5 of this SFA document - https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/2881/scottish-fa-club-licensing-manual-2018.pdf

AllyMonc
Looks like Edinburgh Rugby are going ahead with ‘lesser Murrayfield’. Maybe we could just turn up on Saturdays and see if anyone tells us to piss off. Better selection of boozers within walking distance than Ainslie Park anyway. Edinburgh home matches back at Murrayfield http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/43121142

Edinburgh home matches back at Murrayfield http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/43121142 Berwick's stand came from Bradford if memory serves. So all we need to do is find someone with a big, big, big back green and wait for a club 15 miles west to go bust again and transport a couple of stands back to Edinburgh...
forzamorton
Evening guys, I'm currently writing my dissertation and, surprise surprise, it's about football. I now have an image of two professional football teams running like hell while the groundsman chases them brandishing his spade.
tamthebam
The legend that is Jordan Caddow had joined Dalkeith Thistle. Can't blame the lad for wanting first team football but he'd been with City on and off for years. East of Scotland League winners medal and two Lowland League winners medal and also played in the Scottish League- no bad for a torn faced bugger ()

AllyMonc
No match thread but that was glorious. Biggest win since promotion and fully deserved, expected much more of Elgin who look to have reverted to their ‘don’t travel well’ stereotype.

Thom & Gerry
Thing I don’t understand is that most of our players are from the Central Belt and travel further to home games!
