I'm not ignoring twenty attempts at just smashing a ball forty yards in whatever direction he was facing on the basis of one good pass. He's a Championship standard player on the ball.

Did you watch Liam Craig on Saturday?

Jason Kerr states as much in his post match interview the game plan was to try and not pass it about very much. Due to pitch and conditions etc.

As for Pates, I feel a bit sorry for him (unless he's got something lined up already). He came to the club with a somewhat negative reputation, but I'm sure that he has been a positive influence within the squad. Not the most gifted footballer, but you could never fault his effort or attitude. I wish him all the best.

Craig has versatility, otherwise id be happy to see him thumped out too. Neither good enough, not in the league as it is now anyway.

I understand the tactics, although Albion Rovers didn't struggle to play on the deck, but let's not pretend Paton has ever been the type of midfielder to keep us ticking over in midfield. He's neither as good as Davidson at winning the ball, not as good at keeping the ball as Millar, and isn't as tactically astute at Craig. I'm not convinced I'd have let him go in this window, tbh, as Millar and Muzz are so injury prone, but going forward he doesn't answer any questions.

That was my fear. Relieved that hasn’t transpired.

My dads adamant he has to go, thinks he’s a bad influence on the team. [emoji23]

I don’t think he’ll be here after July though.

Who's to say he hasn't done something that has resulted in his termination? Too many folk quick to lay into the club . Let's hear what the reason is before criticising the club. Could be he's been released to free wages up to bring in a last min target who has become available? No one knows at the end of the day until more info released

They were as good as down when he came back from injury

I heard he was still on the training ground shouting "come on" and "get in" at the players though.
