Love an injury time winner, never turned up first half then went 2 nil down, then win 3-2 and also miss a pen, well done to the lads, no need for whoever it was from renfrew to damage the away dressing room door, but their commitee guys were great, their coach could learn a thing or two from them, when asked about the door he replied to one of our commitee men "f**k up", only one word for him, tosser

Seven wins out of eight for Glencairn, and only one defeat in twelve. In total we've taken 27 points out of the last 36, and 21 out of the last 24.

Only time will tell if we can keep this going and if it will be enough to keep us in the top 3, or if we will live to regret the 7 draws earlier in the season, several of which we should have won had we scored with just one more of the many chances we'd created in those games.

We probably need a few results to go for us elsewhere even if we win our last four games but, as I've said a few times, all we can do is try to keep winning and see where we end up.

We move on to next week away to Irvine Victoria.

Some run the glens are on at the moment , am glad we've played them twice already , a take goals are going in now when they didnt b4 hence all the previous draws ?

Pretty much, yes. You will recall the chances we missed up at your place, and it was the same away to Shettleston, at home to Yoker and away to Renfrew. In the past 8 games we've taken our chances at important times, including a few late winners. The only exception was the defeat to Shettleston a few weeks ago, which we dominated again and one of the Shettleston committee described it as "a mugging" with their late winner after our missed chances. If we'd won that game as well we'd be in an even better position, but you can only deal with the points you earn from the goals you score.

One notable feature of the game yesterday was that Glencairn kept three players upfield at every Peasy corner and set piece. You could see that the Peasy defence were a bit uncomfortable with that as they normally would push defenders up for corners etc. The Glens continued to do this right up to the 89th minute when Peasy had a corner, and this time Peasy gambled to go man-for-man with the extra man forward. The cross was poor though, allowing Glens to break at pace, and it was like a hot knife through butter to get the winner, although huge credit has to go to Sandro Savarese for the finish.

We actually had Jay McKay with us in 2012, we were his first junior team after his time at u21s. He asked to leave after four months, though, as he wasn't getting many games at the time. He went back amateur for the rest of that season and then came back junior in the District Leagues. Willie Harvey kept in touch though and has brought him back as a much more developed player. He has pace, workrate, he's clever and a good finisher.
