welshbairn
From Fitbanorth: Quote Whitehill Chairman and Board Members must be totally embarrassed by that display, the players lost it completely and the manager was spoken to on two occasions. After his second dressing down from the ref he started gesturing to his remaining 8 players to leave the field of play but quickly changed his mind. This indiscipline must have cost them dearly. As to the actual game W F started well but in the second half their defence just couldn't handle the pace of Davy Allan and Steven Anderson and were rather cynical in their tackling. Not what I was expecting from one of the better teams in their league. Wonder if any of our usual SHFL refs would have had the bottle to send off 3 and award 3 penalties I doubt it. HibeeJibee
Teams in R3 draw which is apparently due on Tuesday. Other than a possible Renfrewshire derby, interest will likely focus on Hawick Royal Albert and East Kilbride who eliminated Scottish League opponents. Also from the non-leaguers are Spartans; Bonnyrigg - who beat Cove; and Beith, who put out BSCG with almost the last kick of the game deep into stoppage time.SPFL Championship (6) Ayr Utd Dumbarton Dunfermline Athletic Morton Queen of the South St MirrenSPFL1 (10) Airdrie Albion Rovers Alloa Athletic Brechin City East Fifwe Livingston Peterhead Queen's Park Stenhousemuir StranraerSPFL2 (6) Arbroath Clyde Elgin City Forfar Athletic / Edinburgh City Montrose Stirling AlbionLowland League (3) East Kilbride Hawick Royal Albert SpartansHighland League (1) Wick AcademyJuniors (2) Beith Bonnyrigg Rose AthleticOther Replays (4) East Stirlingshire (LL) / Annan Athletic (SPFL2) Formartine Utd (HL) / Banks o'Dee (Juniors) Forres Mechanics (HL) / Cumbernauld Colts (LL) Gretna 2008 (LL) / Buckie Thistle (HL)

KarlMarx
Good performance from Beith yesterday but was beginning to think it was going to be one of those days you get caught out with a late break. We also missed a penalty with their keeper making a great save. Was good to see big Mark McLaughlin celebrating the way he did even if it dod cost a yellow card. Big man has been a great signing and is exceptionally fit for a man of 40. Unfortunately for me I'm in bloody Tenerife for next round.
Rab B Nesbit
17 hours ago, welshbairn said: From Fitbanorth: To be fair our discipline has been pretty good under Hissy in his 6 months at the club. The first 2 reds were very unfortunate. John Wiliams 2 yellows the first for a handball for a shot blasted at him and the second his 2nd foul in the game. At 3-1 down chasing the game Dale O'Hara exposed at the back, makes a last man tackle and after the ref felt he got the ball it was the lino who flagged and off he went. The 3rd very silly though comment to ref and Gilby sent from the dug should have know better. Well done to Wick deserved winners and a great club. Hope they get a good draw,
