Firhillista
Can't agree with you there. He DOES hit the barn door, if the barn door's the goalkeeper. Every. Single. Time Sent from my XT1072 using Pie and Bovril mobile app

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Doubt it. He could be the next Chris Erskine. Some nice informative responses there.Anyone got anything more substantial to add? I got the impression he was more of a midfield bruiser type but I'm seeing him described as creative as well so it's proving difficult to work out what kind of player we have on our hands. Stranraer fans seem to rate hin which can only be a good thing I suppose.
jagfox
Played quite a withdrawn role with us in his appearances. However he has the ability to pick a pass and carry the ball forward into more attacking areas of the pitch. Never really got the chance to show off any final ball or shooting prowess, however I feel he won't be too bad in that department. Should be able to hold his own in the second tier especially if getting a run of games. Good luck to the lad.

You're probably better asking Stranraer fans, since he was on loan there for the second half of last season. No idea how he got on there. With regards to his limited appearances for us, midfield bruiser he isn't. Thought he was far too lightweight, and that is probably why he never made enough of an impact with us. He has a decent pass on him and seems to be good at working the ball into the forward areas. As Jagfox said though, we never really got to see what he could do around there. If you had asked me at the start of last season, I would've thought he'd have done a decent job in the Championship, but I seem to remember Stranraer fans saying that there wasn't anything particularly special about him while he was there. Seemed to float about the middle while games passed him by.
Armand 2
On the Azeez topic, Lincoln have just signed two strikers, one whom (Matt Green) is pretty similar to Azeez in terms of qualities. Imagine their interest has cooled.
SetPieceSpecialist
If that's the case then so be it. If we can get a decent third striker in, I wouldn't be against the idea of loaning Azeez out to the Championship for even six months just to try to build some confidence in front of goal.
Cerberus
Div Wilson replaced Osman in midfield once. We were 4 down at half time and he was hooked. I'm not saying it was all his fault but I'm not, not saying it was all his fault.

If you look at the goals, most of them are caused by individual mistakes and misjudgements or the team dropping to deep while giving up on trying to keep the ball. 4 hours ago, Nizzy said: I'm not. Someone asked a question and I answered it. Much obliged. It's clearly not ridiculous to look at it. I'm not blaming Ade directly for the goals lost - there were none I can recall where he was as clearly negligent in his duties as Pogba was in that Hearts defeat. However, if we're talking about him being brought on as a useful player when we're defending a lead then I think it's legitimate to raise that as a whole we're not very good at that and Azeez is clearly a part of that in the majority of cases. I think he's very good at holding up the ball if you get it to his feet or into the channels for him. However, when the opposition have the ball I do think he has a tendency to switch off. Dropping too deep starts from a front line that lets the defence come forward unchallenged. His link up play isn't on the same level as Doolan, Erskine and Lawless and his scoring issues are well documented. I don't think he's without potential and we have to remember he's young and our options are probably fairly limited, however there are clearly areas of his game that require improvement. I think that's true of his closing down and defensive capabilities as well as his finishing.
