Glenconner
Funny to see the Scottish Tories coming out the closet. Does the sunlight hurt your eyes?
Bishop Briggs
The "unionist" part refers to the union between Great Britain and Ireland, not Scotland's absorption into the UK. Ruth doesn't appear to know this. Yes. We have discussed Davidson's ignorance on this issue previously. It's surprising that her colleagues, especially the Sevconian Murdo Fraser, have not dealt with it.
Antlion
People still raging about Thatcher despite the same would of happened if it was a Labour government. ) Of you thought that through? Methinks you ofn't.
DA Baracus
Despite their campaign being at pains to make them seem different from the UK Conservative Party, they are the same. So all the abhorrent policies Gideon, Cameron et al are inflicting upon the UK are the same policies Ruth Davidson and the other selfish scum up here in the Scottish branch support. Granny Danger
Thatcher left office over 25 years ago and died a few years ago. Yet some people still can't get over her. She would enjoy the permanent seethe. Time to move on and look to the future. Once a c**t always a c**t; time doesn't change that. Didn't have much time for Thatcher either. Peppino Impastato
I always find it funny that my mum and dad claim to hate thatcher yet they are literally part of the middle class hat thatcherite economics created She didn't create the middle class you imbecile. NotThePars
No but she prepared the ground for millions and millions of us to improve our lives and consider ourselves part of that class. For that, most of us are grateful. Many of us may be embarassed to admit it but most are grateful. You and Wings Over Scotland proving that support for independence doesn't stop you being a right wing roaster.
NotThePars
I am not a right winger or a plastic socialist. Your constant attempt to channel the Tories narrative on welfare on here kinda suggests you are, mate.

FlyerTon
I wonder what his attitude to Scotland will be when he gets into no. 10? Edit to add - it could also be Gideon. We're about 3 years out from either scenario.

murphy1970
Disappointingly good result for Tories but will make heehaw difference to next Scottish parliament as SNP will be able to govern quite comfortably. Any vaguely left of centre policies will see them backed up by Greens. Working-class folk voting Tory as a protest vote makes as much sense as turkeys voting for Christmas
