Presume everything abit up in the air with young going

we've a hefty wage cull so any player looking to stay on their higher bracket wage would have required to take a pay cut. A 40% cut was mentioned somewhere else. Some players will be offered their same deals - others not. Pretty sure Brian Kerr has spoken to the players he wants to keep.

Actually looking forward to a good few faces next season - time will tell if they are any better!

Changes had to be made, budget cuts or otherwise, only three wins in the last seventeen, no points and no goals in the last four games. Some clubs would have shown the manager the door.

Indeed. The evidence from the last third of the season was of a chaotic dressing room.

Would have thought that the Rovers gate money would be up next season with the usual full houses against Airdrie and two visits each from Ayr and Raith.

A 40% or 60% budget cut (depending on your source) combined with 6 big crowds might actually make ARFC a sustainable operation again!

A big chunk of that cut will be taken up by saving on DY`s wage .........£20K +........

We have seemingly signed your goalie for that old favourite "an undisclosed fee".

Is he any good?

Ross Stewart was the best goalkeeper in the division last season. He had presence, he was commanding and his distribution was solid. As with all part-time players making the step up to bigger clubs, I wish him very well for the future.

Good stuff, thanks for that :)

Short answer: yes. Still has much to learn. Potential Saints-Ton derby with two ex-Rovers goalies.

Alan Reid, Ross Davidson and Gary Fisher re sign for Albion Rovers.

So it's official. Young Albino met Ross Dunlop last Saturday and he told him this would happen!
