Why is Maloney not in the squad? Arguably one of our best players in the last campaign.

Sky Sports trolling Strachan by having Maloney on the programme and talking about how ace he is.

Weren't overly lucky against Iceland. Or in Brazil. Or in penalty shoot outs. They deserved that win and probably good for us.

They're often fortunate to have made it to the shoot-out in the first place.

England just displayed that WW2/God Save The Queen/Bluebirds Over The White Cliffs Of Dover spirit that we simply don't have.

They're going to win the World Cup in Russia. It's all but inevitable now.

Aye. He was.

But he'll be 35 by the time of the World Cup and likely to be on the bench for Hull for the next two years. Snodgrass a better option now.

England just won at there most difficult away fixture,  all this wanting them to run away with the group is fucking mind boggling only 1 team qualifies.  If we're hoping that scotland get 2nd place to win a playoff seriously   WIN a playoff were lucky if we rank in the top 25 teams in Europe and I say again  WIN a playoff.

Bwahahaha

Because realism dictates that we're not going to finish above both England and Slovakia and therefore winning in the playoff is our best, and only chance, of making the World Cup.

I read the start of that as "because racism dictates..."

Am I alone in not totally hating Martin?  Hes a bit immobile for top level international football but should do a job against Malta.

No. He looked a good player with Derby, but on his fleeting Scotland appearances he's done hee haw so far.

Tonight's his night!

Happy enough with that team. Martin/Fletcher; not much in it, would rather Fletcher but he's not exactly firing on all cylinders just now either. Good to see Paterson start, time for him to try to make that shirt his own. And Burke is ours officially!
