Jim McLean's Ghost
I'm torn. In the short term it i really don't want rangers to win the cup but in the long term this Hibs scottish cup drought could have a few more decades of lols.

Thumper
If there were ever a Hibsier way to Hibs the Scottish Cup final, it is by Hibsing it against a team of bankrupt chancers that's only four years old. Imagine getting to the Scottish Cup final three times in five seasons and being marked progressively less and less likely to win it, to the point where no bookie would be stupid enough to offer odds shorter than 4-1 against when one's opponents are less prestigious or financially sound than Gretna were. Imagine being only the second team in history to lose a Scottish Cup final to lower-league opposition. Frankly it beggars belief that the SFA are even allowing Hibs to continue to enter the competition, what with the laughing stock they're making of it.

Jarkko Wiss
Maybe if Hibs have 10 men. What do you think? I think it's unlikely to win from 2-0 down twice in the same cup run.

East Fife aren't the only previous such winners. Queen's Park - in no league at all - beat Celtic in 1893.
Fraser Fyvie
So an all-Championship final with each team having knocked out 3 "Premiership" teams on their way. Pure riddy for the folk slavering about the gulf in class between leagues.
bennett
I reckon this game will be tight, hibs play off battles might give us the edge if we can a get a fit and rested side. -

Savage Henry
Rangers will murder hibs but for the good of Scottish football I hope they somehow break their embarrassing curse. And yet, and yet.... Hibs hibsing never ceases to amuse. I think the general populace is in a win-win situation here.

Pure riddy for the folk slavering about the gulf in class between leagues. Except... Rangers and Hibs have wage budgets which exceed all but the top three of the top flight. And Hibs are absolutely rank rotten - the worst, malfunctioning, incompetent side in the Premiership played them off the park for a good while yesterday. Beating Dundee United on penalties is no achievement at all. Ross County hammered Falkirk 7-0 and it should have been more. Of course there's a gulf in class. But I suspect you know this.
