Albums With No Filler

What albums have you heard that are "perfect" I.E that have no songs that feel like they're just making up the numbers, albums that have nothing but great songs throughout?

I'd suggest Death Cab For Cutie's album Plans, also Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American (one which for me was a slow burner and took a good few listens to really appreciate every song, but now I get it), Deftones' Around The Fur, Half Man Half Biscuit's CSI: Ambleside, Pixies' Doolittle, Red Hot Chili Pepper's Californication (another which took me a while to really "get" each track) and Frightened Rabbit's Midnight Organ Fight.

Sure I could think of a good few more, but those are the first ones that jump out at me.

You could have cut half the tracks from Californication, there's a lot of nonsense on there, particularly towards the end. Red Hot Chili Peppers have always seemed to be a little over-indulgent with the size of their albums.

I would like to nominate Is This It by The Strokes. Everything's a short, sharp shock. Tremendous record.

(I agree with the general point re: Chili Peppers however).

Exodus - Bob Marley & The Wailers

Let It Be - The Beatles

Graceland - Paul Simon

Innervisions - Stevie Wonder

No fillers on Let it Be?

I love the album, but the likes of Dig It and Dirty Maggie Mae are maybe a bit throwaway, wonderful as they are.

Absolutely no offence meant, btw. :)
