Aberdeen asset management

The Rangers

That's the names being banded about so far. Of course this is all just rumour in case any lawyers are reading this.

This is also just one legal firm. Tip of the iceberg so to speak

Cameron helped create and develop Blairmore Holdings Inc. in Panama in 1982 and was involved in the investment fund until his 2010 death. Although Cameron didn't appear as director of Blairmore until 1989, a 2006 prospectus said he "was instrumental in the formation of Blairmore Holdings Inc. in the early 1980s." In July 1998, the fund was valued at nearly $20 million. Promotional literature noted the fund was “not liable to taxation on its income or capital gains†and that the fund "will not be subject to United Kingdom corporation tax or income tax on its profits." Blairmore used a large amount of bearer shares –unregistered shares that belong to anyone who physically holds the share certificates– until 2006.

The Icelandic PM did an interview when the question about panama comes up where he displays all of the poise of a man shitting a pineapple

Iceland jailed some bankers after the collapse so he's almost certainly going to down. He was elected as an anti-establishment figure against the banking crisis as well...

In the past 12 months, around 400 journalists from more than 100 media organizations in over 80 countries have taken part in researching the documents.

It's incredible how something so big with that many people involved managed to keep very quiet about it.

Safety first.

Let the cat out of the bag, speculation begins and names are banded about. People then sue and if you lack the proof, you're fucked.

Speaking of which, Lionel Messi has been named by a Spanish newspaper as being involved and he's suing. Not great timing given he's bound to be on trial soon.

I can see Messi suddenly leaving Barcelona and going to a team in a country with no extradition orders soon...

The lack of Scots mentioned so far simply underlines the erosion of our entrepreneurial spirit.

Not exactly stunning news that the governments of loads of former Soviet and Gulf states are corrupt as hell.  Apparently the newly elected PM of Ukraine is implicated and was setting up his account at the height of the fighting in Donetsk/Luhansk.  He apparently submitted a utility bill as proof of address the same time that dozens of Ukrainian troops were killed.

Can I assume that Michelle Mone isn't partaking then.

I for one am shocked that the rich and powerful engage in unethical and illegal conduct

I feel the need to point out that not all of this is illegal. From a business perspective, some of it is perfectly logical in terms of making the decision to utilise the loopholes that were available. That it is unethical is undeniable mind you.
