Bring back Dryhorce.

Some right fucking mentalists on here nowadays.

This. At least he had a reason for being a complete moron.

Quite.

Was just funny to see a bawbag like lineker tearing into Strachan in person the way some folk on here do.

ETA: maybe Lineker is Dryhorce? Or Lineker-inFighter?

Given Strachan's response though I'm not expecting to see anyone other than Fletcher up front for us for the foreseeable.

Rhodes left on the bench behind Nugent for Boro tonight. Looks like Karanka just isn't a fan of him.

He needs to move by the looks of it.  Very strange he is not even getting a start in the EFL cup against lower league opposition.

Forcing him to look elsewhere by the looks of it.

Ooft, no game time for Rhodes again tonight. Another pretty emphatic statement from Karanka.

He's finished at Boro. He needs to get out before the end of August if he's going to save his already ailing Scotland career.

Wont make any difference. Its clear Strachan wont pick him. If he wouldn't even look at him as an option in squads for friendlies yet continually picks Martin and also picks some players to give them fitness due to not being picked for their clubs, then there is no way he will change his mind now. Strachan is just about as stubborn as levein when it comes to it.

Yeah. Shame he seems that no EPL club is willing to take a risk on him - means he'll be back to (probably) scoring regularly in the Championship and being ignored. Would be interesting if a lower EPL club took him on a loan with a view to buy, though that loads all the risk onto Boro (i.e. if he's sh*te in the EPL then his market value will erode).

Well  Griffiths will have the chance to show how much he has improve in that champs league draw oooft they don't come tougher than that.

Tierney will either  benifit(hopefully)or be mentally scarred.

But best of luck to both of them.
