Cant help but feel if this was a lower league team in this situation they'd be getting a lot less leeway, its absolutely farcical you can have fans with no idea whats happening less than 24 hours before a match

This.

Chatting to someone at LTHV-St Mirren today, they were telling me Edinburgh City had to share the whole of this season at Spartans - not just half - as Meadowbank is closing 2 games before the halfway mark. Presumably it was felt unfair if they only played 7-8 of 9 opponents there, or reversed the affected game(s) so they didn't play 9H/9A in each half... Meanwhile you've got Hearts reversing games, re-dating games, playing 4 games at Murrayfield and now waiting until 8pm the night before (unless it's delayed yet again) to see if their unfinished building site can scrape safety approval - and if not, just postponing.

The clubs you mention have nothing to do with the SPFL. So attitudes may will differ.

Sorry?

Edinburgh City play in SPFL2: they got promoted 2 seasons ago. They played at Meadowbank, which is closing at Christmas for redevelopment, but have had to groundshare at Spartans since July.
