Cerberus
Only Russia would try and poison someone like it's a James Bond movie set in the 60s. Wait until they reach the 80s and they will kill someone with a Run-DMC style dance off.
Zetterlund
Best not question why the omnipresent Vlad, at the peak of anti-Russian hysteria in the west, just before the Russian elections and in World Cup year, would choose now of all times to order a hugely risky and public hit on someone of no consequence on foreign soil, using a very specific substance which is easily traced back to Russia. A diplomatic and PR disaster for Russia, while its critics hit the jackpot. No evidence required, just a belief that it's 'highly likely'.
bob the tank
The whole thing is a Westminster inspired smokescreen. Did you see the article about the Westminster power grab of Holyrood powers on disreporting Scotland? No neither did I but the poisoned spy featured along with top story SNPbad, crufts, murders and the bigot brothers.

Surely only the Maybot could be programmed to kill and manage to f**k it up.
Zetterlund
One of the curious things about the Skripal case is how the MI6 recruiter who hired him worked for Christopher Steele of Trump dossier fame. His Salisbury-based LinkedIn profile was apparently just deleted after the poisoning. Conspiracy fans on all sides could have fun with that one.

welshbairn
I don't get why the far left and right, and ultra nationalists, are all joined in love for the kleptocract Putin.
Antlion
Former Russian aide on the BBC news giving Theresa both barrels: “an untrustworthy, politically-weak Prime Minister busy whipping up nationalist hysteria and Russophobia”. I wonder what she’ll be ordered to do today. Edited March 13, 2018 by Antlion

The guy is right as rain for 90 years and yet miraculously dies at an advantageous time for the Tories to flood the mainstream channels with old Ken Dodd documentaries. Coincedence ? I don't think so,clearly a cunning assault on democracy and a deliberate attempt to thwart Indy2. Dodd should be ashamed of even agreeing to it.
renton
Kinda curious to see what absolute shite response the UK will come up with. If they can't get NATO/EU behind them (and the latter group have absolutely no reason to be nice to May right now) then any unilateral economic response would be fairly puny. Why even make a big public thing out of it? Couldn't they just get MI6 to off a Moscow Oligarch and be done with it?
vikingTON
Any idea when Putin is going to stop pissing himself laughing at the thought of an 'ultimatum' being delivered by the powerless caretaker PM of a rapidly failing state and dish out a severe telt?

GTG_03
Can anyone shed some light on what mark McDonald has done? It's been on reporting Scotland the last few days and there's now journalists camped outside holyrood waiting on his return.I'm aware he has admitted guilt but what did he actually do?

There definitely exists of lot of Putin love from both sides, as you have said, which I'm steadfast against. However that doesn't mean we should be too trusting of Western intelligence services or not point out obvious propaganda when it comes to Russia.
