Oh dear Jeremy Corbyn.

Fullerene
Corbyn and his followers have a belief in a Socialist Utopia but are torn between whether that world is only possible outside the EU or only possible inside the EU or whether being in the EU or not will actually make a difference. Until they can work that out - they will continue to dither.

Until they can work that out - they will continue to dither. I think there's a difference between the old school Bennite socialists who see the EU as a neoliberal institution at odds with the socialist vision, and the younger voters Corbyn and his rejection of the establishment appeals to. The younger voters don't want a socialist utopia, they want a future. That future is being destroyed by two things, the Tories and their right-wing destruction of this country, and Brexit. Corbyn provides a firm opposition to the former. It's his commitment to the old fashioned Labour leftism that I think is the stumbling block for the latter.
