EAST REGION PREMIER

Why would Montrose want to go north?

Unless their players are all Aberdeen based i cant think of one good reason to head into the backwaters of the North region unless they are preparing to move into the Highland League.

Interesting, does that mean Shotts could move into the East Region? I mean arent there rules governing this sort of thing?

FFS you's put a protest in about a 17 year old who hadn't played football for 4 months get a life and accept the defeat

If the boy shouldn't have been on the park how is the rest relevant? If he was free to play what's the problem?

Since we are on the subject off Lochee and there crusade for junior football justice . Does anybody know why the coach stands on the grass bank coaching the team . For the untrained eye it looks like he may be serving a ban ,but given his clubs stance on bending rules this can't be the case . Does he suffer from a diss order that he fears close contact ??

Went along to the local derby between Armadale and Bathgate there on Saturday - pretty poor first half which Bathgate deservedly edged then a much better second half. Armadale had a great chance to go 3-1 up and seal the points then lost two very late goals. Cracking finish from the lad Feeney for the Bathgate equaliser - he had been very quiet up to then but took his chance when it came along and Bathgate then nicked it deep into injury time. Looked like it kicked off in the tunnel after the game as well - anyone know what that was all about?

Armadale have a bit of a habbit of causing bother after they loose the game due to their own downfall. Always try to blame someone else. Seen this happen at a a few games this season. Understand emotions may be running high as everypoint is a must but it's down to their own mistakes or missed chances that they are loosing games not the refs fault ect.

Maybe he likes to watch the game from a different angle/height to assess how his team or the opponents are performing?

Not that unusual and happens at all levels. He doesn't appear to be serving any bans according to the League website.

Well that's news nobody has mentioned before on the subject that I have seen as yet. If that was / is the case and there is written proof then one could assume that there is no case to answer and the protest will be in the bin asap.

Nothing to do with sfa, it's a reinstatement protest. Lochee will be given the 3 points and a 1-0 win. Points will be deducted from armadale

Superbigal, that's what happens when you have the best the secretary in junior football,it's happened to us

In the past, please give him a bit of credit.

Surely the best secretary is the one who hasn't had it happen to him and takes care of his own team?

Or is he the best because he's sad enough to to trawl through others team lines?

Genuinely wondering.

Another win for Arniston today courtesy of a last minute winner. 6 wins from 7 games.

Another year where our mid-season form has cost us the chance of being in the mix for promotion.

A tough run-in as well with games against Dundonald (A), Jeanfield (H)  and Lochee (H) still to play. You may still decide where the silverware goes this season ;) Oh, and thanks for dunting our faint hopes last Wednesday :D

No problem happy to oblige😆 You guys probably deserved a draw to be fair.

This League is so so tight. Every game I have seen lately could go either way.

Personally I think Dundonald and Jeanfield will be one and two but plenty football to be played.
