JMDP retires from his match in Rome with a wrist injury.

F**K.

Every time the big man is getting close..

BBC saying it was a groin injury. Hopefully the big guy recovers in time for the French.

Yeah, apologies, was told that by someone who was following the match, didn’t think to question it.. fingers crossed it’s minor then!

Nadal currently rag rolling Zverev. Zverev has great technique and shots but just don’t think he has the confidence or heart to dig deep in matches yet. I would be very surprised to see him win the French.

We will have Scottish representation in the Main Draw of the French Open as Isabelle Wallace from Inverness has won a wild card.

Nadal reels of the last five games in the match to win 6-3 in the third.

The rain break stopped Zverev’s momentum and just couldn’t get anywhere near the level required to compete.

There hasn't been word on his return.  He is still scheduled to appear at Rosmalen in the Netherlands.  Although there were reports that he wasn't ready for a return, and there has been no comment from his camp.  I would imagine we will know closer to the start (11th June) of that tournament how his recovery is going.

Love this time of year for the tennis. From Roland Garros to the US Open the tournaments come thick and fast. Hopefully Murray can be fully fit in time for Wimbledon.
