Maybe I'm not picking you up right but your post makes it sound like Hayes is just a run of the mill winger in the Premiership. For me, McKay is definitely run of the mill, I wouldn't even say he's decent he's just okay. However, Hayes is one of the best wide men in Scotland and McKay would need to seriously up his game to become anywhere near as good as Hayes has been in recent seasons.
