0.4% annual growth lagging behind UK as a whole.Hard to prove as you could claim being within UK is holding Scotland back. However imho constant uncertainty can only be bad for business and i will stick with that.

So that's it, no explanation of why it's lagging behind, no explanation of what sectors are performing well/bad, no explanation of what levers are causing the lag or who controls those levers, no explanation why the UK are the worst performing economy in the EU.

If Scotland is behind the UK and the UK is the worst performing economy in the UK that must be a sound foundation for Independence.....

It's a perfect example of why we should run our own affairs.

Because you and your buds "will never understand that view point" is why you will suffer continual rejection by the majority in Scotland and remain baffled as to why.Things are moving on and the SNP need to keep up with the public mood outside their own bubble or it's back to pre 2014 support levels.

Pish.

There's not a chance in hell 55 percent of Scotland are PASSIONATE about staying in the U.K. There's a huge amount of people that will quite happily go for it if they're convinced, mainly economically, which is going to be the SNPs toughest challenge. Even if it is extremely difficult due to the way things are just now under the control of WM.

The people that are passionate, will never be convinced.

You mean abiding by the results of a democratic vote, surely?

The SNP spent a very very long time moaning about FPTP, but now that they benefit from it they're completely ignoring the fact that their share of the vote was a fraction of the 2015 levels and purely focussing on the fact that they took a majority of seats
