Granny Danger
There have been 19 General Elections since WWII, there have been 9 Tory governments and 1 Tory led coalition government. In only one of these elections the Tories in Scotland had the same number of seats as Labour, in every other election they have had less. Even in the recent resurgence in the Holyrood elections last year they polled less than 25%. My point? The Tories have no right to speak for Scotland, they have not had that right for decades. For Theresa May to come to Scotland and try to preach to us is the epitome of political arrogance. She may be British Prime Minister but her political capital in Scotland has no worth whatsoever.

Except amongst regionalists, who will point out that Scotland willingly chose to be a northern outpost of May's glorious empire in 2014. Apparently no other votes have been cast since then, for anything.

The timing of the next referendum is crucial.

She doesn't even have the constitutional question to excuse her, that's been settled, of sorts. Edited March 3, 2017 by Shades75

Is hatchet-faced May so fixated on Brexit that Scotland doesn't have a sovereign parliament at present?

So what you're saying is that the UK is already being garrotted due to the Tories obsessing about its independence? Sounds like a good reason to get out.

That "obsession" slant is an accusation often aimed at those that critique unionists and the (the) Rangers debacle alike. Thin skin is a common attribute, amongst others.

Scotland is in stasis while Wee Nicola abandons her FM duties to vent about a policy that's been put to bed. The tragedy is that The SNP fanboys support her and Labour is a busted flush. -

"Put to bed", except here we are - and the issue still warrants attention... ...hurrah. I bet the fragrant Theresa held her nose all the way up and all the way back to Englandshire.
