German Jag
Ca. 8.000 H96 fans made their way down to Sandhausen, turning the Hardwaldt Stadion into a sea of red shirts.Beautiful day, shite game but the required result to get back to the top league at the first attempt.H96 without quite a few 1st team regulars due to suspension. Sandhausen took the lead in the 57th minute, but Florian Hübner got the all important equaliser just 3 minutes later. Thereafter was a case of winding down the clock & with Braunschweig unable to make any serious dent as regards goal-difference then things were done & dusted.Stuttgart, who beat Würzburg 4-1, go up as champions. H96 take the 2nd automatic promotion spot, and Braunschweig travel to Wolfsburg on Thursday for the 1st leg of the play-off game. At the other end of the table Würzburg's defeat consigns them to BL3 with, as mentioned above 1860 Münich taking on Regensburg in the play-off.
Nightmare
Was that Hannover taking over more than half the stadium, or was it a kind of split of away fans in two different areas? Two big clubs back up at the first time of asking, with the two smallest Bundesliga clubs relegated. It'll be a tough season in the top flight next year, so maybe we'll see Hamburg and their stupid clock finally relegated. A takeover.Official away end is the left part of the 1st photo plus the section I was taking photos from. Official attendance was 12470 with just over 8000 H96 fans in attendance. The clowns in the H96 support ended up doing ca. €300,000 damage to the stadium, which club president Martin Kind has said he will pay for.Monday evening was 'promotion party' in front of the Hannover town hall. Ca. 40000 in attendance.

It won't be his fault, of course.
Kris.
Wolfsburg V Braunschweig about to start on BT, looking forward to it. Interested to see how Nyman gets on for Braunschweig, watched him a lot at Norrköping before he moved but haven't seen him since. Seems to have chipped in with a few goals this season.

babu
As bad as hampdumpen the venue - you'd think they would build a proper national football stadium.
Salvo Montalbano
Take it Freiburg get into the Europa League now then? One of my colleagues is a fan so he'll be delighted after thinking they'd missed out last week.

German Jag
Return leg about to kick-off in Braunschweig. A sultry 26 degrees, packed stadium, looks to be a charged atmosphere.
