Yet another US shooting

Recommended Posts

Looks like the cops were none too gentle when they arrested the shooter.
From about 150 feet away, Nembhard watched as authorities handcuffed Cruz and put him into a police cruiser. A few minutes later, authorities took him out and put him into an ambulance.

That’s enough time to get his name and ascertain that he isn’t anglo-white.

Watching Fox News on and off during the day.
Expecting someone to say "ban schools".
What they are going on about is arming ex-cops & retired servicemen and getting them to secure schools all over the country.

Harness the militiamen and bikers that are pledged to defend Baron Trump and extend that to all children.

Trump: "So clear that the shooter had mental health problems."
Also Trump: "Obama made it more difficult for people with mental health problems to buy guns? Let's just see about that!"

For once the problem isn't Trump, its the American people themselves. Many of them enjoy their gun culture and have no desire to see it changed. They'll be shocked when people die in events like this, but they don't care, not enough to think they should ruin their enjoyment.

If Trump thought it would keep him in the limelight and keep his popularity high, he'd change the laws tomorrow. Like our own politicians, I don't think he really believes in anything enough not to jettison it when he can do something to keep himself rich and powerful.

I was thinking this since I heard the breaking news last night and was going to come here and post something similar. If the dumbass yanks don't give a damn about their children then why should we?

Watched first two episodes of Dope on Netflix recently and it just brings home how the US is beyond hope.

Florida Governor, Rick Scott, and Florida Senator, Marco Rubio, decline to be interviewed by CNN but appear on Fox News.  Not even willing to defend their positions.

Also it’s looking like the shooter may have had links with right wing groups.

Wouldn't have stopped this shooter from buying his assault rifle, only applied to people who needed help to fill in benefit claims forms because of mental problems.

As much as I despise Trump it's ridiculous trying to lay any of the blame for this on him.

Well he's done f**k all to reduce the risks of it happening.

It's not really though. 3% of Americans own half the guns. And only 25% own any.

It's entirely a lobbying issue. "Do you want gun control or $3million for your campaign Mr. Senator?"

c***s.

That's a similar statistic to 4% of Britons drink 33% of the alcohol consumed in the UK. (I can't remember the exact %, but it's along those lines.)
