thefatgoalie
Just goes to show that consistency is a must, started and ended season as in terrible form, has a really good middle. For next season i would be asking if killie really want jamie mcdonald considering they dropped him. Defo need couple of strikers and some defensive cover.Rea needs to back duffy, but we must avoid the likes off he shanklands and donnellys of the world.Lets try and get players signed up early on allowing time to gel so we hit the season running
The Naitch
http://www.annanathleticfc.com/weatherson-announces-retirement/ Happy retirement Spoonsy. What a player.
Pride_of_the_Clyde
Ultimately the team let themselves down. They were in a very strong position to finish second - and to put some sort of pressure on Hibs - and had shown themselves to be better than Falkirk and (less conclusively, admittedly) possibly Dundee United. As it was they entered the playoffs seeking a participation medal and a pat on the head for trying. Simply they should have done much, much better.
Colkitto
Duffy has improved the team every season since he arrived. We've now reached the playoff's, so most will be expecting a higher placing in the league or promotion itself next season. But he will require proper funding to do that - but will the chairman and the board back him? He will need a bigger squad of players and obviously more quality in certain areas. The focus will be on Douglas Rae as much as it will be on Jim Duffy over the close season.
vikingTON
Well no, the size of the squad was fine: it was the fact that Duffy filled key positions with jobbers on six-month deals that proved to be its downfall. -
Colkitto
Reports of Scullion and Kudos are away. McDonagh looks gone too and Lindsay and Nesbitt loans expired. 5 down so far....
SuperTon
Doyle, Tidser, Russell, Lamie & Murdoch offered new deals.
Dunning1874
Which in turn means Halliwell, Pepper, Oyenuga and Scullion have been released, as well as the already confirmed releases of McDonagh & Orr and Shankland, Nesbitt, Lindsay & Donnelly returning to their parent clubs.

Did you read any comment from the manager or players before the Dundee United games? Regardless, I'm as much of a mind-reader as those who say "the players' legs went" are sports scientists.
