Now you've just got us all jealous, friendly aye? Have flashbacks of the exact same players kicking Killie all over our old pitch at the semi final of a major European trophy in 1967.

It was a friendly yes, shock horror a Kilmarnock fan that can actually comprehend the written word, it wasn't that it was a friendly which was the point, the point was it was against a team which basically ruled English football at the time with many many talented players.

This is because Accies are just a smaller version of A*r who have also WFAANW. They just dont DO Europe. The Dees at least have some very distant memories of European football ( I read about it in some history books once) . This sad man's favourite football memory is being invited to have a wee friendly kick about with the big boys 40 years ago. He's also never experienced the red hot hatred of the Meh derby.

Don't really know what to say, I never in a million years expected it to be a friendly. At the very least I assumed (wrongly) any fans match would at least have been meaningful

That is hilarious. Following a football team for decades, and your highlight is a glamour friendly. No wonder you're such a curmudgeonly old c**t.

That Blackburn side was shit in comparison to the Leeds side we played, I think you have mentioned you're south of 30 so you won't recall that team ask your old man dindy, it was a team full of internationalist with one of the best ever managers from England.

You said Leeds were the cream of the crop. Blackburn were the champions of England which means they were also cream of the crop. -
