The Great Big Kilmarnock Thread

From The Express - 25/05/17

Aberdeen Transfer News : Kilmarnock plan raid on Pittodrie.

Kilmarnock are keen on Aberdeen striker Miles Storey, Scott Burns reports.

The Englishman will be part of the Dons’ Scottish Cup Final squad to face Celtic on Saturday but has been on the fringes at Pittodrie this season and has only been involved in 18 games.

Storey, 23, had been looking for a January exit but that collapsed when Aberdeen failed to sign Stevie May from Preston.

Killie caretaker boss Lee McCulloch is a big admirer and feels his pace would work well alongside Kris Boyd.

However, Aberdeen are due to return early for pre-season training ahead of the Europa League qualifiers and are unlikely to let Storey leave until they sign a replacement.

McCulloch is also interested in Rotherham defender Kirk Broadfoot, 32, who has a year left on his contract. The pair were team-mates at Rangers.

IMHO... If he can produce his ICT (loan) form, 13 goals in 37 games, he would be a decent signing.

The Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Kirsten Callaghan as Chief Executive Officer.

A BA Hons graduate in Strategic Management and HR Management, Kirsten is currently studying for her Masters in HR Management.

Billy Bowie, Director, added “I am delighted, on behalf of the Board, to welcome Kirsten as Chief Executive Officer. Still no managerial appointment...another week goes by.

Lee McCulloch has gone on holiday with no deal in place for him to become Kilmarnock manager. McCulloch, as interim boss, guided Kilmarnock to Premiership safety after succeeding Lee Clark. (Various).....

The Daily Record reckons a deal will be signed when he comes back from holiday, which was booked a while ago, according to them.

"It is believed there should be no issues and the matter should be satisfactorily concluded when McCulloch returns from his break, but the delay will frustrate the Killie fans who are desperate to have the new boss named."

Be patient young padawan.....[emoji16]
