Eednud
That’s 2 play-offs watched today and no goals. NZ were better in the 2nd half against Peru but no way they’re heading to Russia next year unless it’s for a friendly.

Mon_The_Fife
That was a honking NZ performance, saying that they set their stall out to frustrate Peru and will probably be quite happy going over to Lima with a 0-0 but I felt Peru were there for the taking as they don’t look that great either. NZ still have a slight chance though so long as Reid can hobble through another 90 minutes. The build up to this game over here has been pretty poor, although the Rugby League World Cup clearly takes priority.
Jmothecat2
Mon Honduras. Agreed, what's with this sudden love for Australia?
Bully Wee Villa
I think it's Aussies supporting them, which is fair enough. They should be favourites now but, while I like Jedinak, the bloke struggles to play two games in a week in England. God knows how he will manage successive games on opposite sides of the World after a lengthy injury layoff.
Lyle Lanley
Morocco 2-0 up against Ivory Coast and are heading to Russia as things stand.
HibeeJibee
Tunisia-Libya & DR Congo-Guinea underway. Tunisia just need 1pt. Senegal qualified last night winning 2-0 in South Africa. (Replayed due to a crooked ref... South Africa originally won 2-1).

TheCelt67
I think Ireland have already decided 0-0 is enough.
John Lambies Doos
Ireland have to be the luckiest international team going. They should be 2 nil down.Incidentally why is James McLean not wearing a poppy. Strange
senorsoupe
Ireland lucky to still be level, some pretty poor defending, bad enough that I had to double check the lineups to make sure Rob Kiernan wasn't playing!
Miguel Simao
Ireland give me hope that despite a complete lack of talent or ability, i can achieve in life.
senorsoupe
If Ireland are going to make the World Cup they have to take their chances and they fluffed one there
DrewDon
James McClean is very mercurial, but he is pretty much the only Ireland player trying to make something happen offensively - excluding that chance for Christie at the end of the half. senorsoupe
Ireland have a few good players but they are really an incomplete piece. Darren Randolph has been excellent for them IMHO.

accies1874
I don’t really know what people are expecting. Ireland games are always shite. Play-off first legs are always shite. This has been no exception.
senorsoupe
Good Save that! Randolph has been Ireland's MOM by a country mile
Guest Bob Mahelp
Oirland must be the most detestable team in world football. And O'Neil the most detestable manager. It could only be surpassed if they appointed Neil Lennon as coach.
