I think you're right that his comment of refusing to accept the result should Hillary win will be the main focus. He's done it absolutely on purpose imo to draw attention towards evidence of why he thinks the election is rigged against him. High-risk strategy that will immediately turn off a lot of undecideds, but will pique the interest of a lot too. Personally, regardless of how well such evidence stacks up, I think he's just dropped the ball. I will take your word for it, mainly because I can't be bothered checking myself. It's entirely possible that I - and others - misheard. The sentiment irritated me more than the precise phrasing, I must say. Although I get the feeling that you and I might come at these things from slightly different angles! I didn't actually think that Trump was significantly worse tonight than he was in the other debates, to be honest. But I did think Hillary was much better than I have sometimes seen her previously; she was relaxed, started on the front foot and she picked her moments for attack quite wisely - and executed them pretty much to perfection. I suppose it's all subjective, mind you.

Ira Gaines
I thought her nerves actually made her more relatable. Given her robotic side before, and given how fake she's been, to see her dragged down a peg was good.

Thought Hillary was more nervous and stiff than usual, but Trump was like that man who went to the BBC for an IT job and accidently got interviewed as an expert. No Trump voter will be won over by Hillary from that but any undecided's will go to her. I thought that as well but then he started going on about Iran taking over Iraq and I wasn't sure. Whatever the point was supposed to be, it was unintelligible pish.

The amount of times she's slid out of potentially very awkward arguments without a challenge has been incredible. 100% this, I thought it was especially noticeable tonight. She did look exposed a number of times and completely avoided answering a few challenges/attacks (on the organised rioters, for example), and rather than really nail her on it or highlight the evasion/lies, he let it pass. Bully Wee Villa
His refusal to agree to accept the result is concerning, particularly in light of his previous Second Amendment quotes.I don't really think Hillary (hilarious rhyming versions of her name are available) will end up assassinated as she'll be surrounded by Secret Service people wherever she goes. However, it seems unlikely that you'll be able to put a lid on the hate and violence that his campaign has thrived on as soon as the result is known.I can see gun-toting lunatics perpetrating a number of attacks on perceived Trump opponents... Muslims, Hispanics and black people.Say what you like about McCain and Romney, at least they conducted themselves with dignity once they'd been defeated fair and square. Trump's belligerence is going to end up with people getting killed.
banana
Two debate focus groups (comprised of independents) results I've seen surprisingly show close wins for Trump, and the 'Who won?' polls are once again all over the shop but mostly showing Illery wins. I have a feeling the next 18 days are going to be different level fucking mental.

Cream Cheese
Can just envision a radge Texan gun slinging war when Trump cries foul and refuses to concede. If the rest of the world is lucky enough, they'll all take each other out.

NotThePars
Anyone interested in Alex Jones' "analysis" of the debate? Only reason I came on here if I'm being honest. So, so annoying that Trump did touch on and highlight very real problems with Hillary's hawkish attitude and general dangerous world view only to squander it every time by being mental. There's so much wrong with Hillary Clinton that is going to be ignored because it's being highlighted by Donald Trump.
welshbairn
I don't get all the lyin cheatin crooked Hillary stuff, but it's a bit chilling when she talks about taking people out with a big friendly smile and excited eyes. P.S. Noticed he got some serious stick from Republicans yesterday, some from erstwhile allies, after he raised the prospect of fixed terms for Congressmen. He was basically saying if he won their careers would soon be over. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/10/republicans-undercut-trump-debate-2016-229990

welshbairn
I think there's a tad of an over reaction to him refusing to say whether he'll accept the election result and will "keep you in suspense". He's probably planning to use the free publicity to announce a new hotel/casino/golf course/TV station, after graciously conceding. Maybe..
