Templeman - waste of a shirt

I hope Peter Murphy remembers to take him out his back pocket before heading back down south

Templeman is a more than capable player when he isn't folding at the knees and falling over when the ball is played to him

Ayr were ok, 2 great chances missed, Preston was surrounded by Forfar players and still got his shot away for his goal, defended well but the midfield steamrollered again at points, Hutton only had two saves to make the whole game.

What a difference Murphy makes at the back. Never seems under pressure and always looks to play it out of defense. Murray looked gutted to have missed that easiest of chances. Overall good solid display today without being brilliant. Did what we needed to do today, great 3 points.

Thought we were in control until the goal . Templeman is no use Unless the ball is played to him and can't run at all. Dods is finished too

Dods has been pretty much player of the season this year. Season maybe catching up with his auld legs though. Yano coming back has definitely caused him problems, Dods hasn't got the pace to help out when Yano gets pulled out of position as per Airdrie game, Yano doesn't have the pace to get back into position. We need Baxter back badly.

Sanny still has great close ball control and has been causing problems every game during our major dip in form, "waste of shirt"? Happy to see him in the team to be honest. Swank's and Hilson's drop in form haven't helped up front either, Templeman seems to get the worst of the flak though.

Simply not good enough. We had no bite up front at all, and the whole side simply could not handle the appalling conditions. I have not seen rain like that for years.

Ayr adapted better, and that was it. If we get a repeat performance at Greenock next week, it is not going to be fun. Best part of the day was getting back to Dundee and going for a pint only to find a Teletubby party going on. Made up for everything, that did!
