Romeo
Dating adverts, build a (insert thing here) in only 728 issues, diet shite. Telly is full of them. Any P&B ers sucked in by these?
Funky Nosejob
Seeing that issue 1 only costs 99p and comes with a free binder always blinds me to the fact I'm going to end up paying £220 for a poorly bound book about battleships. It still takes pride of place next to my £360 model of the Bismark.
Waspy
Quite enjoy seeing all the holiday adverts on the telly, it gets me looking forward to the summer.

ForzaDundee
BBC advert for what they're showing at Hogmanay is on a lot at this time of year. Wonder why they don't show it in June.
Forza_Paisley
I seem to notice the famous grouse more this time of year but I'm sure they also advertise in the summer around sporting dates. The current one with the guy walking into the room thinking he is the man just because everyone else is sporting a false beard is getting on my nerves. The magazine ones are always good currently it's a 1:1 scale studio model of the millennium falcon. 90 issues at 8.99 each! Although it does have a working ramp. Forza_Paisley
A 1:1 scale model isn't really a scale model. £809 sounds fair for a full size millennium falcon. 1:1 scale would make it original sized spec, it's described as a 'studio' model. So technically it is full sized although £800 for a 2ft plastic model doesn't sound a good deal to me.
Benjamin_Nevis
The Millennium Falcon one looks a bargain. £8.99 per issue for 100 fucking issues. There's also a ridiculous number of charity adverts. Absolute w**k.

Bobby Skidmarks
Theres an advert on just now, can't remember who for, but I thought it was a romanticising holiday advert about far away tropical places. Turns out to be the Hull to Zebrugge ferry.
