cornbeef
The manager says( in the Tele) that a midfielder coming in might not be the most flamboyant/eyecatching player but would offer the experience we need there. Preparing to be underwhelmed here... sounds like the return of Graeme Holmes Agree with SALC however that the manager is making the right noises - we are all over the shop at times and an old head or two could pay dividends. Edit to beat VT to the punch... obviously quite a few think the Duffster could only make the right noises if it was contained in a resignation speech
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Maybe we're going to tempt BMMMH out of retirement?
Dunning1874
We need more competition in the wide areas too. If Jamie McLuskey is out, we have no other natural wide players other then Russell, who has been played more often at left back. The other McCluskey can allegedly play there too. Ideally I'd like to be able to bin said McCluskey if Clyde would be willing to take him back, but regrettably we're stuck with the under-contract duds. If we're only getting two players, let's have a central midfielder and a wide midfielder. Although I suppose a left-back could work too as that would free up Russell to play further forward. I'll assume that in saying the player he's talking to isn't a flamboyant type it means he's a holding midfielder, which is good. O'Ware's done a good job in midfield but it'll be a big help to the defence if we can have our best centre back at centre back while the defence have competent protection from the midfield rather than having to choose one or the other. mcintyre_gmfc
Let Lamie, Allan, Crawford and McNeil go, keep Dece and Scullion. Sign Peaso, a centre mid and a winger. Make it happen, Duffy. A front 2 of Peaso and Dece
Mr.Blue
Lamie is decent back up!? He certainly is not. A sensible manager would get rid but I won't be surprised if he's offered a deal to the end of the season

Ispolis
All on his own? No his multiple personalities joined in and between them they started a fight in a phonebox. As for JD talk about throwing good money after bad. Suspect he will get facebook profiles of every has been or never has been out of work footballer and stick them on a dart board before closing his eyes to make his selection.
