the longer we wait I fear it'll become more and more likely that Stranraer will go ahead of us and pull away, meaning Stevie Aitken would be even less likely to take the job.

Had a chance to appoint Stevie Aitken, aaaand it's gone.

Maybe Morton should consider going full-time; being a big club and all that...

We should definitely consider taking a very good manager working with part-time limitations at the moment, possibly with an ex-Morton connection who would drown a bag of Labrador puppies for the job. Not sure who fits that bill tbh.

Not sure James Fowler would take it...oops sorry, just realised you had to be referring to Allan Moore?

It's going to be a long winter with Duffy in charge. Not a chance in hell that Rae is going to be sacking him any time soon. :thumbsdown

Until today you were too. You're in a playoff place and one win away from the top spot. How can you possibly be complaining about your manager. Just think back to last season.

We've just faced the most embarrassing result in out clubs history and we have lost 8 (eight) times to part time opposition and its only the start of December. That's completely unacceptable for a manager with the second biggest budget in the league probably by a considerable margin.

His time is up.

It's fashionable among the pack-minded on here - fans of Pars, Morton, Stenny and Ayr all reckon they should be higher.

I've just looked at the latest form table at statto.com. You're currently second, and performing better than Dunfermline. Why the pessimism?

We suffered one of the worst results in our history last week. Duffy's management of that match was incompetent - the game was slipping away, we could all see it, and instead of having a plan B he admitted that he just hoped that it would improve. It emphasises all the worrying signs in the league games. If any team has a go at us we're in trouble, we're benefiting from teams sitting back at Cappielow.

Stranraer fans clearly seem to be breaking into fits of idiocy at the prospect of Morton poaching Aitken from their club, an outcome which he has been targeting for at least the past year.

Not to worry, as our chairman is notoriously incompetent and won't bother to replace Duffy until the meaningful league campaign is over.

Exactly, we're 4th in a league were we're one of only 2 full time teams, yet have already lost 8 times to diddy's like Brechin City and Ayr United, were realistically we should be walking this league. Not to mention one of the most embarrasing performances in the club's history and having a very good, promising manager (Aitken) show interest in the job and follow that up by hiring Jim fucking Duffy.

Our friends at Ayr keep telling us that there are 3 full time teams in this league. On that basis, you ain't the worst full time team in Scotland!

Under contract so would be very expensive for you, even if our Committee agreed
