Fair play to Carluke after last week. Lanark missing 2 penalties in 2 minutes at 0-0 is a disgrace. 5 misses out of 5. We scored two lovely goals. You certainly scored a couple of crackers. Burgh lost an early goal after their keeper picked up a passback in the box. Keeper then strangely joined the Burgh defence in the wall some 6 yds off his line. Burgh raced straight up the park and equalised then hammered another 3 past the Largs keeper before HT. Impressive stuff from the home side. Largs upped the pace second half but could have gone further behind twice after Burgh missed a couple of good chances. Largs scored midway through the second half and I expected a grandstand finish from the seasiders. Not so as they self destructed and ended up with 8 men on the park. An enjoyable match from a neutral point of view. Burgh played like a cup tie and deserved the win, Largs...well they very poor on the day.. Decent attendance too on a mild but grey day. Darvel keeper handles outside box and stays on park; no 10 throws punch and stays on park; push on back then ball bounces up to hit arm for penalty; great Dalry goal from Hamilton given offside when he was yards on? Yeah ref was poor - but all one way!! Bullet header for winner ? Corner in 5th minute of time added(where did that come from ?) was a sclaff off a head in a crowded box. We all see games differently!!! Deliberate handball for penalty, keeper jumps on player trying to get ball back,Dalry couldn't see game out Darvel stole game, we all see it differently!!!
