NewBlue
Might as well start a thread for this. 2-1 home win or a score draw, can't decide.
Hedgecutter
I'm liking this: Peterhead FC are moving to a ticket only system from this Saturday, tickets can be purchased from the Ticket Office adjacent to the main stand. In addition the Club will offer ALL fans the incentive of a pie and chips for entering the ground before 2.45pm and free stovies in the Social Club from 1.30pm
NewBlue
Well an endeserved draw from a mediocre game. Brechin kept us quiet up front all game and our makeshift defence was creaking.

BRECHIN4791
Was not at game so can t comment too much but it looks like we ve let yet another team off the hook ? We could ve been top the league with games we ve thrown away ! But we re not so just have to stick at it..
'Steve
Definitely two points dropped. City should have been a couple of goals up before Trouten finally put us ahead. We should have pushed on and put the game beyond doubt but yet again we sit back and invite the opposition onto us. Thought Gerry was our man of the match and despite missing a sitter, Bobby Barr was excellent and done his fair share of tracking back. Obviously not appreciated by those idiots who continually give him stick and Bobby quite rightly told them to f**k off. A point is a good result up at Balmoor though, just frustrating as it should have been all three.

That's the things that drive players away. Still think we re needing a goalscorer !,

We do seem to be lacking a natural finnisher.
theoriginalhedge
Just watched the highlights. Bloody hell. How we did not score at least 5 is a mystery. This Bobby Barr slagging is getting beyond a joke now. Can folk just not admit they were wrong about him and give him the encouragement he deserves? He is obviously a confidence player who's performances get better when he is urged to take players on. Glad to see he is starting to answer the arseholes back and put them in their place. Cold Feet
I was less than convinced about Barr at the start of the season but there is no doubt he has been pretty consistent and any barracking is not needed. It will be the same muppets from the Glebe who think we should be playing like Barcelona every week. Have now also watched the highlights and also wonder why we did not score several and win comfortably. The one thing is at least we are creating the chances and someday we will start converting the chances. Smith must be racking up his points and closing in on a wee seat in the stand. It's the same lot that were shouting for one of our players to 'snap' Chris Aitken's legs down at Stranraer earlier in the season, just a game or two after coming back from a broken leg sustained against us last year. Just absolute stupidity. Bobby was actually the one that told them to shut up that day as well. Not going to name names, they know who they are. Would be helpful if they could perhaps channel their passion for the team positively instead of barracking the players when things aren't going our way. Glad to see Bobby putting them in there place Because they have nothing else in there lives and it is the only time they would shout at anybody as it is mostly a safe place to do it. However, loud questioning was directed at the team for somehow managing to throw away a match winning position by inviting the opposition onto them. Not sure if they were carrying out the managers orders,or reverted to that style themselves, but it looked like sheer bloody panic, much the same as the Forfar game the week before. Even Stirling Alb game we almost threw away the game .I feel it's usually after he makes substitutions we ease up ! But the quality of subs are usually as good as players they re replacing! But Don t want to be over critical as we re playing well enough and good to watch at times especially last 4 or 5 games as well as scoring some cracking goals ! AstroZombie
I have noticed that about Bobby Barr, sometimes he is a bit eager to answer back to the terraces, giving the wrong impression of himself. As far as I can see, the lad gets plenty praise from the fans, but he also must understand that the supporters have a deep passion for the club and often this passion will come to the surface when things are going wrong.
