Getting to the stage of almost being completed, the far stands look like a good addition.

I understand the constraints but another new ground built on an industrial estate miles away from the Railway Station and the nearest pub. ^_^ Soon to be followed by New Pittodrie. Looks decent though, hope they have an on site social.

What was the thinking behind putting 2 small terraces and 1 tiny grandstand on the far side?

Not sure if they're terraces or team areas. And what are the concrete blocks about, are they expecting Al Quaeda?

Looks like a mini version of the G.E.S in Dingwall.

Fairly sure that was the preferred location of "new Pittodrie" before the council rejected it. Will be a bit of a ball-ache to get to as you say, a bus to the top of Cove/Charleston and cross that busy road is the only thing I can think of. As the south side gets busier it may become easier to get to and a friendlier match day experience.

Modern fitba' is pish.

I like how they use the word cancelled instead of postponed, as if the game will never take place.

Might as well be, it will probably be on a Wednesday evening in December.

In a bit of a funny twist our friendly against Inverurie Locos has been moved to Cove on Sunday. Might head along and see the new stadium, does anyone know what the parking situation is there?

Wouldn't have thought you'd have any trouble on a Sunday, it's in an industrial estate.

Never mind, the game is back to Harlaw now. Cheers anyway.
