The Albert fought back from 3 goals down to snatch a point against Perthshire but it could have and should have been better. .

The Albert started with two new signings Barry Murdoch ( Gow ) and Davie Hamilton (Lanark) starting.

The first 10mins were not much to comment about it was the Albert who created the first chance when Scott Brennan was put through but a fine save from the Perthshire keeper kept the score line blank.

Then 5mins later Saf put the ball past the keeper but the referee gave offside a close decision but probably the right one.

Perthshire then created their first chance when a fine cross from the right found no takers.

After 30mins Davie Hamilton hit the post and the ball was cleared of the line.

With ten mins to go Perthshire took the lead when from a corner they scored from a free header from 6yds.

Things were to get worse for the Albert when after giving the ball away inside the Perthshire half Perthshire scored from a free flowing move

The second half started as the first went on

with the Albert with Davie Hamilton hitting the post, there was a slice of luck to Perthshires third goal when a miss hit shot fell right at the feet of the Perthshire striker who cooly slides the ball home.

The game looked dead and buried for the Albert but they continued to make chances and scored from a penalty from a handball scored by Saf.

They continued to create chances and scored their second five mins later when a run and cross from Gareth Stokoe was guided in by Alan Campbell.

They then missed a great chance to equalise when after good work by McGill all he had to do was roll a 5tds pass across the goals but hit the pass wide. With 5mins to go the Albert equalised from a stramash in the box Alan Campbell tapped in from 5yds. The final whistle went with the Albert relieved to get a point but it should been much better, Perthshire maybe have become a little over confident at 3 nil.

Good game for the brave spectators who watched the game
