I thought you looked pretty decent at the back on Saturday there. It may have caught on you never know.

Definitely much better than when we met previously in September.

Apart from the goal yeah id probably agree, but you never know with our defence.

Williamson is one of most exciting young players around. It amazes me that he isn't one of the first names in your starting XI every week. Always impressed every time I've seen him in action.

A flexible and modern approach to coaching would find a way of getting him into the team, getting the best out of him and fitting the others around him to make it all work.

Or am I over simplifying matters?

Your guess is as good as mine. I know you don't want to wreck him by making him play too much but there's no good reason he isn't one of the first names on the teamsheet alongside Scully and Buchanan.

To think he's being kept out of the team by Ross fucking Millen actually pisses me off. The only person in the world more useless than a sharing option on a porn video.

Potter on COWS after beating Ross County (and Dundee, and Dundee United):

“I thought that Andy Stirling and Ryan Williamson caused a lot of problems in the first half, so in the second half County had to change the way they played. They caused them a big problem down that side with Andy drifting in the pitch and Ryan overlapping, it was the same with Dundee last week. They were very positive together and I’m delighted with their performance. "

C'mon Jefferies - you know it makes sense.

Both teams have good keepers but we have shit defenders whilst Dunfermline have good defenders

Dunfermline have a good team but shit manager we have a shit team but a good manager

Anyone else read this in the voice of Ralph Wiggum?

Scully is available again - Wallace the only player out.

JJ hinting there could be a good few changes. I don't think it's just a question of shuffling players around though - the general shape has been poor and on Saturday we were lumping long balls at the big defenders - pointless.

Coming in? Thomson? Stirling. Falky. Smith. Williamson. Maybe Martin? Urquahart seems a decent defender but tended to launch a lot of pointless balls forward - would rather see Martin play and ping the ball about, even if it can cause the odd scare.

Moffat doesn't seem the most confident guy - not sure if dropping him would help. Sticking Allan Smith in next to him could be worth a try as I think they're a natural strike partnership in waiting.

I would go:

Scully

Williamson

Martin

Buchanan

Whittle

Stirling

Spence

Thomson

Falkingham

Smith

Faissal

Would go along with that XI. Might be more inclined to play Urquhart beside Buchanan.

Expecting nothing from this game. Fingers crossed we can get a win.

I'm expecting a win. Stop being so negative. If the players go in with your attitude we're well & truly fucked.

Given how shit we've been I think I've got every right to be concerned of not getting all 3 points.
