Quite a nasty thing to say, they never stopped trying for the full game and their goalkeeper was given a lot of plaudits for keeping the score down. They were guilty of making a lot of silly mistakes on the ball due to the pressure we applied but as the game went on they were more adventurous and were pushing more players in attack to try to get at least a consolation. Their fans who also attended (a couple were below me taking shelter in the gantry) were always encouraging too, always supporting their team despite the scoreline. Hopefully he'll get the most out of playing with us, it happens some times with some players at different clubs where they just seem to do better at one club compared to other clubs.
