Confidemus
I'm afraid you'll need to expand a little, my man.
The Shark
I'm afraid you'll need to expand a little, my man. Guy claims he received a phone call to go to Duke St where he'd find a bag stuffed full of Yes votes near a bin. Went on YouTube as well - calls himself "John, Son of David" (suppose that answers my own question). Anyway, can't give you the link cause my technical assistant is not here and I'm not attempting the cut and paste stuff. I'm sure you'll find it. I don't think there's any mileage in the conspiracy/ votes rigged/ missing ballot papers nonsense.

Jamaldo
Unfortunately I think some Yes voters let themselves get into such a mindset where if a No vote was delivered it had to be rigged. To be honest I did to an extent. However when the result came in I quickly accepted the majority of voters didn't want what was on offer. I don't agree with them and I'll never agree with their reasons for their vote but I accept that they were the majority. It's absolutely not healthy to continually insist that the vote was rigged to the tune of 400,000 votes.

mizfit
Normally ignore the conspiracy theories, but I truly do not have an explanation for that. Would they stage another referendum IF it came out it was a rigged election?
FrontPage
tbh i could print a load of those bits of paper off just now and make a video claiming theyre discarded Yes votes. would need closer inspection.

MassiveFanDan
If you got an anonymous call at night directing you to a bin near Duke Street, would you go?
Lex
If you're going to make up a conspiracy, you should try a lot harder than this. The print quality of those ballot papers and the fact that they're clearly of varying sizes is one give away. Also, if this was some zeitgeist conspiracy, surely they'd have better ways of disposing of them than dumping them in some bin? Amazingly, there are thousands of people who genuinely believe YES won the referendum.

QPSAFalkirkFirm
Also, if this was some zeitgeist conspiracy, surely they'd have better ways of disposing of them than dumping them in some bin? Or just shred them as they were taken out of the postal ballot boxes. That would work, wouldn't it? Or just get some blanks ones from the printers employed by the government and fill in some NO boxes and drop them into the postal ballot boxes. Wonder who could pull of that kind of stunt? I'll give you five guesses. Thanks god the silent majority are around to cover up this mess.

Desert Nomad
Conspiracy theories are a load of pish. There were people involved in the count at Dingwall high-fiving at Yes votes and booing No votes, they also involved in the conspiracy?
