I thought it was 2-0. Mallan and Heenan scoring

Yeah I just looked that up, for some reason I completely made up to myself that Heenan got another right at the end for some reason.

Great season.

Probably my favourite ever game supporting the Lichties that day.

i.m.o.with players like Fletcher,Pirie,Penman etc, and scoring against a great Celtic side within 40 seconds there is no doubt the 73-74 team were better.

Eric Sellers, Peem Cant, Derek Rylance were all very, very good players

We've not played Dundee United competitively since 1994. Kilmarnock since 1992. Both in the cup.
From memory
Celtic - 2013 SC
Aberdeen - 2003/4 CIS
Hearts - 2015 LC
St Johnstone - played in LC 2008ish and D1 2002/03
Ross County - Div 1 - 2002/03
Dundee - Challenge Cup 2011
ICT - LC 2008ish
Motherwell - SC 2001ish
Partick - 2nd and 1st Division about 2003
Hamilton - LC 2014
Newco - plenty over past few years
Hibs - SC 2015
Falkirk - 1st Division 02/03
Raith - 2nd Division 2009ish
Morton - 2nd division 04/05
QoTS - 2nd Division 2012
St Mirren - 1st Division 02/03, remember a last minute 3-2 winner for us flashing up on GSS!
Dumbarton - play regularly
Livingston - CC few seasons ago
Alloa - play regularly
Obviously played all the teams in the bottom 2 leagues on a regular basis.
So would like to see us get United (wanted them or Dundee away for as long as I can remember), Killie not been, St Mirren not been, Falkirk and Ross County as haven't been.

Done this last year. United obviously changed now and ticked off after the league cup last season. ICT also more recent than what I've said... but 25 years since a competitive game against Kilmarnock. Can't see it changing any time soon either with the regional draws now. Would take a Scottish Cup game.

Third season in a row we've drawn them in a cup I think.

25 July 15 Arbroath 1-4 Dunfermline

Grehan; El-Bakhtaoui (2), Moffat, Wallace. Att 914

19 July 16 Dunfermline 3-0 Arbroath

Moffat (2) Geggan. Att 1,974

15/16 August 17? Maybe August will be better than July for us.

SPFL has announced a 3 year TV deal with BBC alba. The deal will include two live games from both the first and second division plus 5 live irn bru cup matches.

I wonder if they will pick any of our games.

The games will be the play off matches.

Hope not. Not a fan of a 5.15 kick off
