longjohn
Following the lively debate that has accompanied the chippy vs chipper thread on here, what about the geographical variations in the description of having a cup of tea? Dumfries seems to go for a cuppa. Brechin goes for a cuppy. Military types on the other hand seem to go for a brew, Who is right and who is wrong? Let the fun begin... Mr. Mojo Risin'
I'll usually just say 'tea', and not specifically request which type of container it must come in, I'll be happy with a mug, cup, chalice, tankard, jug, bucket or whatever.
