Guest Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Ayr Victoria What did you make of Glenafton as a team Passed us off the park in the 1st half, but we still went in at h/t 1-0 up. Thought they took a lot of chances passing it about the back, but we couldnt capitalise on it. Boy Strachan looked dangerous everytime he was on the ball, but no a lot came off for him. Thought we looked a lot more dangerous in 2nd half and probably shaded that. As expected the Glens pounded us last 5 looking for equaliser and eventually got it 4/5 mins into injury time. Loosing Balfour early in in 2nd half was a blow to is as well but the boys did put in a shift and hopefully we can take it forward to Saturday now. Wishaw beating talbot in the west was , further on in the season, wishaw a bottom tier club at the time. This was a surprise i suspect for a lot of people but thats fitba its full of surprises . The Maybole supporters certainly made a night of it and were a credit to their club. However Beechwood has a 500 seater stand so why when Maybole visit theres always one that wants to stand at the railing in front of everybody's view. Bloody disgrace the referee. The boys didn't deserve to lose tonight. Absolutely gutted to lose like that. We just need to keep playing the way we are and we will win the ADL at a canter.
