Oops time to change the record (remember them) as the needle appears to be stuck or is it just to get a reaction!

Your team not buy players or pay wages then?

So any ideas on what you want to be when you grow up?

probably a professional muppet

All clubs according to today's Sun

Ridiculous decision then. Why should lithgae be given a bye? They already got one at SFA cup because they were now a licenced club, they certainly shouldn't get the same favour from the SJFA, who should bear in mind that lithgae will be only too keen to leave the juniors behind, given the chance.

I don't think we should be given a bye necessarily. I think the logic is that anyone in the big cup will have extra games to play no matter what stage they come in but I, for one, enjoy the early rounds of the Junior Cup when you often get an awayday to somewhere you've never been before. The later rounds tend to throw up familiar opponents.

when you've finished wiping the tears away, let's hope the region uses the fact that they know both clubs have a free Saturday to schedule the first derby.

Apart from the highlighted bit I agree.

7 clubs now get a bye this situation needs to be looked at in time numerous clubs could receive a buy as the receive their Licence.i believe that clubs who have Qualified through having won their regional league or Scottish Junior cup should be the only clubs to receive a bye

Problem is that Linlithgow Rose and Banks o'Dee have obtained entry by merit of achieving their licence and therefore they have "achieved" something in a way Girvan haven't.

Also if the purpose of the exercise is to try and reduce (very slightly) the risk of fixture congestion, then there must be a far higher chance that Linlithgow - who are not a champion - are going to go some distance in the Scottish Cup, and Junior Cup, than say Culter - who are a champion.

Yes they have achieved their licence and have been rewarded with entry to The William Hill Scottish Cup they should not be allowed a bye in The Junior Cup as well if numerous junior clubs achieve their licences will they all get byes in the Junior Cup?

If every club in the Juniors gets a licence.

1. It will be a big Scottish Fa Cup 1st Round draw.

2. It will be an interesting Scottish Junior cup 1st round draw. "And that concludes the draw. No fixtures and 177 byes" ^_^

Well, you've got to decide what the byes are for?

Rewarding champions? Or, trying to (very slightly) reduce the chances of fixture congestion?

Also, lets remember there are 95 byes required.
