Let's put it in simpler terms. You go on holiday to somewhere in Spain that you absolutely hate, you hate every minute of it. Do you then just never go abroad again because you went to a foreign country once and it wasn't good?

Or do you keep going to the same place, even though you hate it, because you don't imagine anywhere is better?

I don't understand why anyone would expect Lennon to say anything different considering the man who is chairman of his club came out the day before and said he is backing Strachan. Would be strange if he came out and said "no I don't agree with the chairman, Strachan has to go". It's also rare for managers to say other managers should be sacked.

Michael O'Neill said he hardly ever went to EPL matches as his 3 players that plied their trade there would be in his squad as long as they were upright and breathing, I'm not suggesting just blindly picking players but surely we could come up with a system that gets results and then fit some of our players into it.

We apparently aren't picking certain players due to their work rate, that's fair enough if the manager has insisted that they play in a high tempo manner and they haven't, wonder where Celtic would be this season if he had just discarded all those that weren't playing in that manner for the previous manager.
