Seems about average for me when doing a speed test, when downloading stuff can get as high as 16. For quality sakes use www.speedtest.net. Bring it on..!! I only have copper, waiting to get fibre. I'll definitely win the slowest upload speed; it's actually a wonder I was any good at first person shooter games considering my connection was fucking woeful. I could probably get a few more Mb/s if I had the PC connected directly to the router. The master socket and the router are in the kitchen so I use powerline adapters to hook up the stuff in the living room. I remember when I first moved into Aberdeen for uni back in 2003 having lived out in the countryside for my entire life and how excited I was about getting a 512k broadband connection in the flat.
