Macbeast
The Scholarship team are the boys that Gordon Inglis and Johnny Mctear take in and try and get them scholarships to the states. All selected from local boys clubs I believe. I'm sure either of them would give a much better and more comprehensive explanation of what their company does for youth players in this area. Kilwinning Ranger
Have to say the Scholarship lads were a credit over the two games at the weekend some of their attacking play was very good.
TheScout
The Scholarship Co squad were a mixture of players (16-19yrs) either currently playing in the US on scholarships, about to fly out on a scholarship or players we are assessing to take onto our program for 2015. We bring in players from across the country for showcase assessment games and create media packages to promote the players to US college and university coaches all across the USA. All the candidates we accept onto our program are then placed at colleges and universities to study their chosen degree while training every day in a professional environment and top level facilities. The lads that played at the weekend don`t train or play together, with many of them not even met each other before the games. All in all we thought the boys did extremely well and maybe changed a few peoples pre-conceptions as to the level of players that go on scholarships. We cant thank The Buffs enough for having us, their staff, committee and fans were great with the lads and we look forward to next years tournament. Good luck to the Buffs, Cumnock and Ayr Utd U20`s for the coming season The weekends squad list is below GK- (Saturday) Andrew Clark Union University , Kentucky 15- Chris Rinn Sheridan College, Wyoming 9- Chris Vance Anoka Ramsay College, Minneapolis 3- Dale McClelland Montreat College, West Virginia 18- Ewan Bain University of North Georgia, Georgia 15- Jack Beck Northeastern College, Texas 10- Jordan Muir Eastern Florida College, Florida 11- Kevin Ireland Palm Beach Atlantic University, Florida 19- Liam Gourlay Northwood University, Florida 5- Neil Slooves Palm Beach Atlantic University, Florida 2- Sandy Robertson Anoka Ramsay College, Minneapolis 12- Sean Robertson Union University , Kentucky GK (Sunday) Alan Tipping (2015 Candidate) 8- James Lamont (2015 Candidate) 7- Mark Taylor (2015 Candidate) 14- Brandon McEvoy (2015 Candidate) 6- Gregory Ferry (2015 Candidate) 20- Dale Shirkie (2015 Candidate) 21- Adam McKinstry (2015 Candidate) 4- Marc Abercrombie (2015 Candidate)

TheScout
Yes, Kevin was and still is a talent... He scored a beauty on Saturday against the Buffs. I signed him for Albion Rovers and then Ayr Utd as a youth before sending him over to Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he has just graduated from this summer.
