RedRob72
It's more than that here though. Traffic accidents turn heads, but in a grim fascination type way, accompanied by thoughts of 'there but for the grace...'. With Rangers however, there are huge slices of Schadenfreude involved. I'd liken it more to the jailing of Jeffrey Archer. Care to explain why for you personally, just interested like?
Henrik's tongue
10,000 bears at derby, what a day it will be. Outnumbering the Derby fans 2-1. Yeah it's right up there with European football, Chris

Monkey Tennis
Care to explain why for you personally, just interested like? I wouldn't imagine my reasons are particularly unusual. I have not enjoyed their dominance - it's destructive for sport and the playing field enjoyed by them and their sister club has been absurdly uneven. I have not enjoyed the triumphalism that has accompanied such dominance. I loathe the sectarian sentiment which the club has historically exploited. I resent their threats to leave and their lack of commitment to their own game. I hate the fact that so many from towns like mine choose to associate with them I have loved their turmoil and wish to see it continue.

Monkey Tennis
I'll bet he's got his tickets sorted from Dumfries down to Derby next Saturday though! Nah. I'd considered it last time for Ted McMinn, but couldn't live with the notion that some might have assumed I was a Rangers fan.

Monkey Tennis
Seriously? Yes seriously. Please explain why Saturday's defeat for Queens was unimportant to me. As it happens, it wasn't exactly devastating but it was disappointing and it mattered.
RedRob72
You've asked why I dislike Rangers and then suggested my reasons are negative. That is just odd. I didn't ask why you dislike Rangers, I asked you why you derive pleasure from someone else's misfortune. You posted it not me. Give us a PM before next Saturday, I'll let you know where we're going for a pint, put on your new 3rd tap back to front so I'll recognise you? You asked why I took pleasure from Rangers' fate. That's pretty damned similar to asking why I dislike them, don't you think? The answers to both questions would certainly be identical. Cameron1875
Not sure why clubs would agree to hosting Rangers at their ground. When the current buns gather in large numbers its been proved time an time again they just can't behave. And likely the only reason you boys will outnumber Derby so much is because their fans don't really give a toss about playing a lower league Scottish club.
