A letter in last night's English newspaper

The suggestion that those outwith Scotland should get a vote is a ludicrous one.

It's for those living here to decide, not ex pats chiming in from afar, like Rev. Stuart Campbell and those of that ilk.

When I lived in France , I had the right to vote in UK elections. Ex-pats have been 'chiming in' to UK elections for a long time.

The UK government seems to think this ludicrous situation is OK. I don't.

ETA FWIW I forsee a 60/40 No vote. Good luck to all residents of Scotland.

Hard to believe we have arrived at this point, where the future of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be decided by less than 10 per cent of our citizens! Better together, vote NO!

What percentage of citizens decided to have the Union in the first place?
