Heart of Midlothian 2014-

If anyone is wondering where they can read Romeo's withering criticism of Aleksandar Tonev, here it is:

Sweep sweep.

Utterly desperate.

I hope the few non racist fans at Tynecastle will be identifying those responsible.

Which players were forced out of Hearts due to racism?

Conclaves has been confirmed as leaving due to the abuse he suffered.

The most damning thing about this, is that Concalves, Oshaniwa, Sowah, Djoum, Kingston have all suffered racial abuse at the hands of their own supporters. It is worth pointing out that it is a minority of morons and for the most part, The Hearts support are as well behaved as any.

It’s now about rooting out the few thousand idiots and banning them.

Did you not say Goncalves wasn't the first to have been forced out due to racism?

I said I don’t think he’ll be the first to leave.
I’m not sure if being racially abused by their own support was a factor in Oshaniwa, Sowah, Kingston etc leaving Hearts.

I don’t think Concalves will be the last player that’s forced to flee the country though.

Usual dullards attempting to point score of the back of racism, despite their own clubs far from perfect record.

Disturbingly Romeo  in particular seems exuberant about  the story.   Weird reaction indeed.

Exactly the point I was making. Well deduced.

Your insistence on spelling his name wrong despite being corrected is rather strange.

Been going to games regularly now for over 15 years. Only heard racism in the flesh twice, once by a significant section of Rangers fans at Celtic  Park aimed at Bobo Balde (monkey chants) and the other in a Stirling Albion match where the stadium announcer made tannoy about about it. I see Hearts like Stirling Albion have come straight out condeming it rather than denial for which I say fair fucks to them.

I'm afraid to say that your history as an apologist for racists reveals all your posts on this topic to be motivated by shamelessly opportunistic point-scoring and thus completely undermines them. It's a shame that someone would try to cheapen the discussion of a serious issue in this way.

I agree with your second point, notwithstanding the fact it comes from a place of one-upmanship rather than genuine concern. The attitude that some Hearts fans have towards black players is a disgrace. Fortunately, blatant racist abuse is heard relatively rarely (in my experience) but the subtler stuff (black players disproportionately being accused of being lazy, being unfairly compared to  other black players etc.) is more widespread and there's a long way to go before we can say that Scottish football doesn't have a problem with racism.
