KierenAAFC
Ben Gordon has signed for East Fife..[emoji20] Good signing for them but into perspective can't be paying 3 first team quality centre backs in Frank, Andy & Ben. Wish him luck but our back up definitely has to be cheaper - would have loved him back though!
KierenAAFC
2-0 defeat up at Dingwall. Meh. How did we play?
LeodhasXD
Sat and listened to the radio all day. Ross County comfortable. Don't think we had a chance in the first half. We woke up in the second half and challenged but at 2-0 down the game was over and fox made a couple decent saves to keep the clean sheet. Sounded very uninspiring. I feel like there is going to be a few of these (Stirling and St Mirren) slow games until we get our shooting boots on from the start. Can't wait to see a more even challenge against Arbroath so I can gauge where we are though.
English Wasp
Ross county missed a load of chances in the first half and we were lucky to go in only 1-0 down. We did wake up in the second half, and had most of the chances. Craig Malcom was stretchered off early in the second half. Hopefully his injury is not too serious.
KierenAAFC
Just seen that Malcolm doesn't look to have a broken ankle, ligament damage the early diagnosis. That could be worse.
Redwedge77
Glad to see the positive support from the terraces. We will be burning our season tickets next. Obviously big Jim pissed a few hardy locals before the season even gets under way. It was always going to be a tough game against a mid table SPL side team away at the start of the season. Christ I can mind going there in the same division and getting shafted by 6 to nil.
Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
We played okay in spells, contained County pretty well at times. Had a few chances, particularly early second half. Undone by a beauty of a first goal we couldn't really do anything about. McD was good in goals, Renton showed some decent touches when he came on. We worked hard, thought we could have offered a bit more threat though. Second goal was a bit too easy for the hosts. Game didn't have much of an edge to it. Comrie
I thought you played pretty well in the second half. Certainly showed a bit of quality in terms of passing and went through our midfield way too easily once Lindsay was gassed after 60 minutes or so. You certainly did not disgrace yourself in any way.
lichtiekev
£16 for this cup game on Tuesday is a disgrace, don't no if it's fully Alloas decision as do cup games prices by to be agreed between both clubs? Either way £10-12 would of been more than fair, especially to all the people who have forked out on season tickets already
BigMartyn86
That's us back from a sordid weekend in Nottingham. We drew against Darlington (1-1) and Doncaster (3-3) and lost to Barnsley (4-1) in our group matches and this morning lost out to Hearts in the plate (3-2). It was a non stop party for us and we made some great bonds with other teams. Roll on the British Cup draw and hopefully a messy away day. Mon The Wasps!

The fact that crowds for cup games have been significantly lower doesn't seem to matter. They even charged £16 against Cove last year.

KierenAAFC
Jeez. Not looking forward to a season with Renton & Flemming up front. We definitely need something else up there - the boy Zanatta maybe who was at Queens last season on loan. Someone who can run fast. Fleming wasn't in the game at all & Renton wasn't up to much either, didn't win many headers or challenge Gomes in goal at all.Cook had a mare as well, didn't beat a man all night. Grant when he came on was meh. The signings haven't impressed as of yet - still early doors. As good as Martin & Mcdonald are & will be in the future when the bench is filled with 16/17 year olds it doesn't bode well for a full campaign. Promising thing is ,again, we didn't give up and we got the goal. Huffed & puffed and got there but that game should have been a comfortable win with the amount of corners and crosses etc. Taggs, Flanny, Cawley all standing out for us which was no surprise.
BFTD
Surprised wee Kev came off so early TBH; thought he had another good game. Always surprises me how good he is at harrying opposition players when they have the ball, considering he's an attacking player. Hope wee Adam Martin recovers from the graze on his knee that the physio spent so much time on
